Student Accounts: Settings
Make sure the ONLY box checked is Registrations need to be confirmed through teacher
Mandatory fields - check only first name (add last initial when creating)
I checked all the same fields Christa did... make notes later.
Create accounts (not invite members - requires email)

Christa's class was LA and they commented on stories they were reading. She outlawed all personal messages and page design because it allows for aquiring friends and playing too much. Her students only wrote a few lines at a time because they went to the library during guided reading time. Stickers were worn that said, "I'm allowed to use 21 Classes."
Christa deleted a lot of the categories (under support). Created categories she wanted. You NEED a category for each topic to keep the blogs organized! You NEED to create categories!
Make sure you choose a subcategory to enter after writing your question!!!!!
Homepage is just info. All other entries and comments need to be in categories.
